  Trailer and container owners in Lagos State have been cautioned by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu not to park on the road. Sanwo-Olu cautioned that offenders would face prosecution while speaking during the opening of Jimoh Odutola Road, Surulere, and Reeve Road/Onilegbale Road in Ikoyi, Lagos. The governor of Lagos state, who was represented by his deputy Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, stated that they are prepared to execute a legislation banning parking on public streets.
