Actress Iyabo Ojo reveals she spent ₦40 million on her AMVCA dress


Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and businesswoman, recently created a sensation on social media when she announced that her attire for the renowned Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) cost a whooping $40 million.


The revelation aroused eyebrows at the actress's expensive price tag and left fans and followers in awe of her fashion statement.


Iyabo Ojo, who is renowned for her excellent taste in clothing, never fails to turn heads on the red carpet.


Her followers were shocked to learn about her extravagant expenditures on the AMVCA outfit, though.


She posted a video of herself wearing the pricey garment to Instagram along with a content maker named Dacoster who had recreated and mimicked it.


Iyabo Ojo revealed she paid $50,000, which is equivalent to around N40 million in Nigerian currency, while sarcastically dragging the content producer. Toyin Lawani, a famous stylist, created the ensemble.


She wrote, ” “Please, i need an Idan lawyer, who has Oba lawyers number, i need to sue this guy……… nobody should beg me oooo, we shall meet in court ………. my $50,000 💵 dress, no wayyyyyy”

The actress’s revelation instantly sparked a frenzy among her fans and followers.

One fan wrote, ” U mean this dress is 37.5 million ???????####Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm”

Another one wrote, ” Be calming down ….$50,000 wey you suppose take support motherless. You spend am for just one cloth 🤔”
