President of Dog lovers in Lagos slams Hilda Bassey and social media influencer Enioluwa for encouraging eating of dog meat (video)
After sharing a video discussing dog meat, prominent influencer Enioluwa and Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey came under fire from Jackie, the president of the Dog Lovers Association of Lagos, on social media.
A few days ago, Hilda Bassey traveled to Akwa Ibom state with Enioluwa to celebrate her return after attempting to break the record for the longest cooking session by an individual.
In one of the movies, Hilda introduced Eniola to dog meat, a specialty of her state, and invited him to try some. Hilda attempted to force the meat into Eni's mouth despite his resistance.
In response to the video, Jackie, the president of the My Dog and I group in Lagos, criticized them for promoting the consumption of dog meat. She then chastised Hilda for engaging in such behavior while the world was still waiting for the Guinness Book of Records to formally recognize her as the new world record holder.
Jackie in a video shared, showed off her dog who she referred to as ‘’my son'' and wondered if Hilda and Enioluwa would be thinking of eating him as well.
Eniola or Hilda are yet to react to Jackie's statement.
