This is too much for me” – Murphy Afolabi’s daughter, Fathia mourn the death of her father

 


People's emotions to the passing of Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi have been poignant even after his death.


The actor's daughter, Fathia, posted a heartbreaking message on her social media profile in one of the reactions that broke our hearts.


In a post on her Tiktok profile, Fathia published a photo of herself and her father and wrote a heartfelt obituary for him, stating that she could not face his passing.


She wrote: “This is too much for me daddy😭😭😭😭😭😭. I still can’t believe this daddy, pls wake up”


The post was met with an outpouring of love and support from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers who also expressed their condolences over the actor’s death.


Murphy Afolabi died on May 14th, 2023, after reportedly fell down at his home in Ikorodu area of Lagos. He was 49 years old.
