Refund the N250,000 he sent to you” – Murphy Afolabi’s burial committee call out Adunni Ade [Video]

 


Actress Adunni Ade from Nigeria has drawn criticism for supposedly owing money to the late actor Murphy Afolabi.


Eight days after Afolabi's passing, his coworkers planned an 8-day Fidau prayer in his honor, which is a day set aside for additional prayers for the deceased.

Muslim clerics were requested to deliver sermons to the living, pray for the deceased, and collect donations for his family and children.


During the Fidau Prayer, the late actor's burial committee brought out Adunni Ade, claiming that Murphy Afolabi had promised the actress N250,000 for a part in his upcoming movie prior to his tragic death.


They begged her to give the money back.


On Sunday, May 21, Murphy's coworkers hosted a night of tributes in his honor.


Following a tumble in the bathroom of his Ikorodu residence on May 14, Murphy passed away. On May 15, he was laid to rest at his residence.
