Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci Completes 100 Hours Cooking Record sets new Guinness World Record


 The longest cooking hours had been broken by Hilda Bassey Effiong, better known as Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef.


Hilda earlier broke the previous record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019.


To surpass the previous record, Lata Tondon cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.


However, on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 8 o'clock, Hilda broke the previous record.


She spent 100 hours in the kitchen, breaking the previous record for the most time spent cooking by one person.


On Friday, Baci began her culinary marathon challenge in Lekki, Lagos State's Amore Gardens.

In an interview with Punch, the mother of two claimed that performers' lack of adaptability in the field is due to insufficient training.
