Mayorkun speaks on his beef with Davido

 


Popular Nigerian musician Mayorkun recently addressed if he still has any beef with his former record company, DMW (30BG), which is run by Davido.


While celebrating the release of his second album, "Back In Office," in 2021, Mayorkun made the announcement that he was leaving the record company DMW, which he had joined in 2016.


DMW did not extend Mayorkun's contract, and the label did not support his follow-up album.


In a recent development, a curious fan questioned Mayorkun if he had any difficulties with DMW during a question-and-answer session headlined "Let us talk," noting that he had not seen DMW during Davido's Timeless event in Lagos.


The netizen wrote:

“What’s wrong with you and 30BG, notice you did not go to the concert cause I did not see you.”

Mayorkun found the question amusing and asked if he and the inquirer were in the same world.

Despite leaving the record label, it appears that all is well between Mayorkun and DMW as the singer performed at Davido’s Timeless concert contrary to the fan’s assertion.
