Alleged cable thief caught and tied to transformer in Maiduguri

 


In Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, a reputed burglar was purportedly captured stealing electrical lines from a transformer.

 

The suspect had been stealing cables for a long time before he was finally captured early on May 17, 2023, according to the Adamawa State News Flash reporter in Maiduguri. 

 

 When the angry mob seized him, they tied him to the transformer's metal frames.
