Tiwa Savage Confirms Kidnap Attempt, Reveals What Really Happened


 Tiwa Savage, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has claimed that she was almost abducted on Thursday, April 13.


The Stamina Crooner confirmed the horrifying incident on her verified Instagram page through her manager, and it was also made known that those involved for the kidnapping attempt had been arrested and were being questioned.

Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April, 2023, that there was a major security breach at the recent of musician Tiwa Savage. A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Ms Savage and family are all safe,” the press release reads.

According to prior reports, Tiwa Savage nearly evaded a kidnapping attempt orchestrated by her new driver.


The singer's new driver allegedly shared information about her movements with his co-conspirators, according to self-described investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo. Fortunately for Tiwa Savage, all those involved in the kidnapping attempt have been apprehended and turned over to the police.


According to a post on Kemi Olunloyo's Instagram page, the incident took place on Thursday, April 13, in Lagos.

"Earlier today, Thursday, April 13, 2023, an attempt was made to kidnap Tiwa Savage in Lagos," the author of the article writes. A new member of the domestic staff, a driver especially, was providing information to his compatriots who had been following her as she left the house for days.

The men were all apprehended by police at CID Alagbon in Ikoyi with the use of vigilante-style private security. Be extremely cautious and suspicious of your domestic help at all times, celebrities. These days, Nigeria is exceedingly unsafe.
