Laide Bakare, a Nigerian actress, has drawn criticism on social media for saying that a car wash in the US charges $500 to wash a car.

The actress said this in a video that she posted to her Instagram account.

In the video, Laide Bakare argued that by washing her new automobile at home rather than paying $500 to have it washed at a car wash, she actually saved a significant amount of money.

She wrote, ” I enjoyed this Actually 😄 I just saved over $500, instead of taking it to Car wash 🧼 to clean my New Tokunbo wheels 🛞 🕺🏻💃👌Oya send your Aza to share this gain, 1st 10 people to say congratulations thou and follow @laide.bakarehub and @simlineboss”

Her findings, however, were disputed; many said that she had lied and exaggerated the price of vehicle wash services in the US.

One user wrote: “Shey werey ni Aunty yi ni (Is this aunty crazy)? You lie too much. $500 to wash car in the US? I’ve been to the US, and I know that’s a lie.”

Another user wrote: “Nobody uses 500 dollar to wash car abroad ke rora ma paro oooo chai thank God nah abroad too we dey mstchww.”
