Romiti Salami says the era where 1st and 2nd wives leave peacefully before women’s mind got corrupted by Western ideology can never rejuvenate

 Due to a recent tweet and comments he made regarding polygamy, Nigerian actor Romiti Salami has sparked a discussion on social media.

First and second wives used to coexist peacefully in the past, before western ideologies of one man, one wife, and one man poisoned women's minds, according to a poster uploaded on his Instagram profile.

The post read: “First and second wife, before our women’s minds got corrupted by western ideology of one man, one wife” 

However, Salami captioned the post by saying such a ear can never be rejuvenated.

He wrote, ” This era can never rejuvenate…Otilo🤣 Or what do you think ladies?

His remarks have elicited a range of responses on social media, with some users endorsing his viewpoints while others opining that the current era is the worst ever.
