My dad bribed me to go back to university – Davido


 David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has revealed how his rich father Chief Adedeji Adeleke paid him to finish his degree program.


Davido received a second-class upper degree from Babcock University in Osun State's music department.


The singer admitted that after originally leaving school to concentrate on his music career, he was obliged to return during an appearance on the most recent episode of the +44 Amazon Music podcast.


He disclosed that his father made a bargain with him under which, in exchange for his attendance at classes from Monday through Friday, his father would construct him a top-notch studio and give him money to film music videos on the weekends.

He said, “He [my dad] said if I go to school, he has a land not far; he will build me a studio. But I should go to school from Mondays to Fridays and on weekends, work in the studio. It was a world-class studio. He will give me money to shoot some videos.”

  Nollywood Bimbo Success, a Yoruba actress, has lashed out about how untrained, wealthy Nollywood women are harming the business. In an interview with Punch, the mother of two claimed that performers' lack of adaptability in the field is due to insufficient training. She asserted that some actresses think that making a good movie is only a matter of having money.
