Marry your mother, if you can’t trust your wife”- Peter Okoye reacts to Hakimi’s divorce scandal
The divorce scandal involving Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi has been discussed by Nigerian artist Peter Okoye.
Remember that on Friday, reports surfaced that the World Cup semifinalist had filed for divorce from his wife, Hiba Abouk, who had requested more than half of the PSG star's possessions.
They only discovered afterwards that the Moroccan had no possessions and had registered everything under his mother's name, including his clothes, house, cars, jewelry, and so on.
However, she was told by the attorneys that because all of her husband's possessions are registered in his mother's name, he has no legal assets.
Peter Okoye responded by asking in a series of tweets why most guys are celebrating the football player's story.
He further advised that if you can’t trust your wife, don’t marry her.
The singer also noted that they should remember their mother is also someone’s wife.
He wrote, #JustMyOwnViewAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it, The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her, then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to suffer after a divorce?
“Remember!!!The one you trusted with all your property in the name of Mother was once your father’s wife.
“The mother you are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way?
Pls Marry your mother! EOS.
“Make those supposed Hakim’s twitter warriors have that kind of man as in-law. You go see how dem go, humble dem sef! Ndi ala!
“Make all of una go marry una Mama! … no time! Since Hakimi sense wan ki una”
