Nkechi Blessing, a Nigerian actress, commented on the recent divorce case involving Achraf Hakimi and Hiba Abouk, a Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender.

The actress used her Instagram account to encourage women to work hard for their money.

On Friday, news of the billionaire footballer's divorce from his wife, Hiba Abouk, flooded social media.

The sources state that Abouk wanted half of Hakimi's assets but was told that all of them had been purchased in his mother's name.

Nkechi responded by stating that it is crucial for women to have their own money because it is a sign of independence.

She noted that while having a wealthy partner would be ideal, it's still crucial to put in a lot of effort.

Nkechi Blessing wrote: “Why it’s important as a lady to work for your now money, a man with money will be a plus and not a must. Big shout out to all the hardworking women out there,Don’t stop grinding🙏🏻📌.”
