I spent $2million on my last album”- Davido reveals


 David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian artist, disclosed in a recent interview that he spent close to $2 million on his previous album, "A Better Time."


Davido continued, "I spent $30,000 on my new album and have made three times that amount in profit."


He is appreciative that African music is getting better despite the extravagant sum he has invested.


“My last album, I probably spent $ 2 million. I even spent 300,000 on this album and I made more in 3 days. It just shows me the level African music is going to. Things change”.

In an interview with Punch, the mother of two claimed that performers' lack of adaptability in the field is due to insufficient training. She asserted that some actresses think that making a good movie is only a matter of having money.
