Dead’ man show up at home three years after he was buried


 Family members believed Mr. Wilberforce Mbulamaye had been "buried" on June 3, 2020, however he reappeared on April 4, 2023, in Bugolya Village, Budaka District, Uganda.


On January 3, 2015, Wilberforce Mbulamaye fled Bugolya Village, Nabugalo Parish, Kameruka Sub-county after being released from Budaka Prison.


He moved to the Gomba District without telling his family or friends where he was going and worked as a casual laborer, according to Monitor.


He ran upon his brother-in-law John Mwanika in the Gomba District, who didn't know him until he identified himself.

The same day, they made plans to travel to Budaka, where they were welcomed by the family with open arms.


The moment Mbulamaye entered the house alive, the family was in disbelief.


"It feels wonderful to be back at home. Thank goodness, my family is once again complete," Mbulamaye remarked.
Samuel Semewo, a spokesman for the North Bukedi Regional Police, claimed that because he had made the exhumation and repatriation of the remains possible, the family buried someone else.
