Court granted singer portable N300k bail, remanded in prison till he meets bail conditions


 A Magistrate Court in the Ogun State local government of Ifo has granted bail to Habeeb Okikiola, alias Portable. 


He was charged with three counts including theft of musical instruments and assault by the Ogun State Police Command. 


The controversial singer was given a bail bond of N300,000 with two family members as sureties. Before Portable could fulfill his bail conditions, the singer had to own real estate within the court's jurisdiction. 


The Nigerian detention center authorities observed the musician eating away after he was unsuccessful in getting out on bail.

The matter has been adjourned to 26th of April, 2023.
